Written Work

Research is like opening a can of worms, it forces one to think and respond in strategic and creative ways.  I’ve discovered that I don’t necessarily interpret questions, but that questions interpret me, and I’ve learned that there are more books than one could possibly ever read and there isn’t time to read them all, but one ought at least to try and read some.

I haven’t begun with a question but with several areas of interest. The reading material for serious philosophical inquiry requires and deserves a life-time of study and research, and as such my well intentioned approach becomes that of a ham-fisted hacker. The weaknesses in my work are many and varied, my way of researching is comparable to successive attempts at splitting an atom (a tome) with a hammer, however in this regard it aligns itself very well to my artistic practice.
